Windows 10: Softwares can't access their own setting file

    Softwares can't access their own setting file


    Suddenly, one day several software can't access their own setting files or files located inside their own folder because the entire "Program Files" folders are protected. It's a good idea to protect the program files but you should at least allow programs to access folder in their own directory.I have Kaspersky internet security installed, bet didn't change anything there. It shows the applications are not restricted.

    If developers don't get access they can't write software for it and there won't be any when it's released to the public. Most members of the public won't be writing their own software.
