Sole User and not showing under ThisPc/C/Users

Instead of myself, what I have under Users, is a folder that I had from windows 7 in my network. It was Users/Desktop/MyBaby.
When I upgraded to Win10 it added that under Users. My name is nowhere in that win 10 Users folder. I just downloaded the 'Take Ownership' script that's available for download and I noticed that it used User Desktop/MyBaby as owner.
    How do I remedy this?
I am the sole user of this pc, and under Accounts, there is just myself as Admin.

    :)

  2. File Explorer - "This PC" section problems

    Cmdr,

It is interesting that your example says: "There's actually 3 ways to make this Documents shortcut icon go to your OneDrive instead,"
and shows the current location of the ThisPC Documents folder to be in your user path in C:\. You realize that we are trying to do the opposite: On my computer, the ThisPC Documents folder currently points to OneDrive and I cannot change it so that
it does NOT point to OneDrive.

Here is what happens: right clicking on ThisPC Documents folder, or on C:\users\username\documents (I expect these are two ways to get to the same folder), then on the tab: Location, I can see that the current setting is: c:\users\myusername\onedrive\documents.

Now, trying to reverse the three options you sited in your last post:

    1. clicking "Move" asks to where? if I point it to the Documents folder on my computer (C:\) I get: "can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be redirected."

    2. Delete the \onedrive out of the path, then click Apply. Same result.

    3. Settings>system>storage appears to, but in fact does NOT allow me to redirect new docs to ThisPC. It reverts back to OneDrive.

So it is most interesting that your example shows YOUR Documents folder under ThisPC to be pointing to c: and not to Onedrive. I can't make that happen! If that is the default when you bought your computer, that confirms my suspicion
that there were two Windows10 releases that differ among computers!

So I am curious, Cmdr, in your FileExplorer, you have two documents folders, one under OneDrive and one under ThisPC. Since the Documents folder under ThisPc does NOT point to onedrive (as illustrated), I infer that documents in that folder are saved
only to the computer and not synced to onedrive, right? And you can open files in your OneDrive Documents folder even when not online? (I think it is necessary to identify in Onedrive settings the files you want to also save on the computer
    for off-line use.)

In my case, I needed a third Documents folder. I have accepted that the documents folder under ThisPC will always point to and sync with OneDrive, and to have a place for documents that do not sync to the cloud, the solution was to create a second Documents
folder in C:\users\username that does not point to onedrive.

  3. Wrong Documents folder

That is what I was trying to say. But surely under THISPC, the Documents item should be the user's C drive folder.

How do I get it back?

    thanks

Sole User and not showing under ThisPc/C/Users

Yea I had something similar happen to me and I had two users with the same files. even after I set up a new account with my Microsoft account and deleted the old one It was really weird. I ended up having to reinstall windows ten. Luckily it happened sooner than latter. Now I have noticed that I have only one user account but two profiles. My normal one and another called default. If I figure it out ill post it here
