Windows 10: Solid Edge Termination Log

Hello,After opening Solid Edge and attempting to open a file, it keeps running into this problem after having our IT dept. roll out the new 2024 version for everyone. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Siemens Solid Edge 2019 does not work on Windows 1903

I understand that you receive an error while launching Siemens Solid Edge 2019, we will look into this for you. However, in order to get to the root cause of the issue, please reply with the following details:

• Does this issue occur with any other application?
  
• Are you using Microsoft Edge to run it?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  

As per the system requirements of
Solid Edge 2019, I see that it is compatible with Windows 10 and requires Internet Explorer 11 to be used.



As you have mentioned that, you want the graphics driver to be of Windows 1809 version or earlier, I suggest you to try rolling back the graphics driver and see if that helps. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
   
2. Select Device manager.
   
3. In Device manager, expand Display adapters.
   
4. Right click on NVidia Quadro 600 driver and select
   Properties.
   
5. Navigate to the Driver tab and click on
   Roll Back Driver.
   
6. Restart the computer
   

If you do not find the option to Roll Back the driver, you can try installing an older version of driver from your PC Manufacturer’s website.

Solid Edge ST7 - Problem on Windows 10

I migrated from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, and after this the program Solid Edge ST7 don't open any project in Windows 10. I tried uninstall and re-install but the same problem appears. I tried too run in compatibility modes.

Any suggestion?
