Windows 10: Solution: Factory Reset and Upgrade to Windows Pro Bought in the Microsoft Store

PROBLEMI had reset my Dell XPS laptop that came with Windows 10 Home to factory settings. I couldn't get the license key for Windows Pro 11 Upgrade that I bought through the Microsoft Store. The first time, I installed Windows 10, upgraded to 11, and it didn't work. I didn't have an active license. I assumed that's because the new license for this machine is now Windows 11 Pro, not the version that it came from Dell with. The second time, I installed Windows 11 Home from the start. The third time, Windows 11 Pro. Both were downloads from Microsoft, Create installation media for Windows - Micr

Factory Reset for Surface Pro 3

My first post, so be gentle!
Just got an oldish Surface Pro 3 and I would like to do a 'factory reset'

I'm trying to add an attachment




If I have uploaded the disk management image correctly, there seem to be more partitions than I was expecting!
Would anyone like to suggest what the previous owner(s) have done?
Also where (which partition) , and how would I go about a factory reset.

Please let me know if this post is in the wrong area and if I've broken any rules or conventions.

I explained this to you earlier in another post that there is a bug causing Store Upgrades to Pro to list themselves as Enterprise.

Everyone else with this unfortunate bug has had it taken care of by following my advice. Please do that now.

Factory Reset on an OS upgraded from Win 10 Home to Pro

I'd like to factory reset my laptop, as i'm going to be selling it. The question i have is, when i factory reset the laptop using microsofts default method, will it revert back to Win10 Home? I upgraded my laptop to Pro online after i bought it from the
factory with Home coming on it default.
