    Hi everyone, i started having problems with my fingerpoint driver, and finaly, after one year, found the solution... i was always trying to downoad drivers for Windows 10 system, but today, I bring you the solution for code 31 error which I was having, the only thing I did is downoad Windows' 7 drivers. Those drivers' last update, was in 2018, the year I bought my laptop, while Windows 10 drivers, where from 2020, and those drivers where just not working...

    Synaptics WBDI error

    So my laptop updated last night and now I am having problems with my synaptics WBDI (fingerprint scanner). I tried troubleshooting and it said that there is a problem, but it can't fix it. Does anyone have any ideas? When I used the Virtual Agent chat
    thing it gave me different steps to try and fix it, but I couldn't follow the steps because I couldn't find all of them. It also suggested uninstalling the synaptics WBDI, but I'm hesitant to do so because I want to be able to get it back. I have the Yoga

    We would like to know if you've checked the latest driver for Synaptics WBDI as suggested in the previous post.

    We also recommend installing the latest Windows updates, please go to
    Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.
