Windows 10: Solution probably for update issue on 22H2 for Windows 11 0xc1900223

Tried several time to Download and install 22H2, also after reboots. No Succes!!BUT!! .... Suddenly it worked after performing a 'Disk Cleanup' 'Clean up system files' Make sure that 'Windows Updates Cleanup' is selected. I already performed the cleanup so the entry wasn't there anymore and so no screenshot :Hopefully this helps for all!.

Windows 11 Update 22H2 error 0xc1900223

Hi,

I have yesterday purchased HP-15s Ryzen 3 5300u with pre-installed windows 11,

Today when I tried to install windows 11 update 22H2 after downloading till 8% it shows (we couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0xc1900223)).

I tried to installed and restarted laptop 2 3 times but it shows the same error again.

Kindly help me with this.

 

Cannot update Windows 11 to build 22h2

Need more help than support web site offers. I would like to update a Windows Pro 21h2 to 22h2.

I've tried every suggestion at Troubleshoot problems updating Windows - Microsoft Support short of "Perfrom a clean installation of Windows 11." That list is comprehensive and includes everything I would have thought of on my own and then some. None of the troubleshooting suggestions solved the problem. The system in question is a Lenovo ThinkCentre M90n desktop running Windows 11 Pro Version 21H2.

In addition to all the steps at the above link, I've also tried installing by using Windows 11 Installation Assistant. Installation Assistant downloads and goes through the long installation process. But then very shortly after the reboot starts, it says, "Undoing changes" and boots back into the old build.

 

I didn't receive Windows 22H2 update yet

It probably hasn't been rolled out for your computer! Have you checked with Lenovo to see if they provide a list of computers that have been tested and approved for Windows 11 22H2?

I own all Dell's and did not have any problems getting the 11 22H2 update. Dell has provided a list of computers that are approved for use with the update.
