Windows 10: Solution to Can't hear other app audio when in a Zoom meeting

Since the main thread coming up on Google was closed, and there were only trial-and-error answers, I thought I'd provide my solution and why it works. Can't provide it there unfortunately anymore.This is the solution, if your headphones have multiple modes: My headphones call it the standard "Stereo" device listed as LE_<your headphone> and a "Communications/Hands-Free" device Sony WH-1000XM3. Right click on the audio icon in the taskbar and select the first option sound settings or similar. If you see your headphones more than once, and in this succession, then you might have the

Can't hear other app audio when in a Zoom meeting

When I am in a zoom meeting, I am unable to hear anything except for the audio from the meeting. This does not mean that I cannot hear other participants in the meeting, just that if there is another app with audio playing at the same time, I cannot hear
it. I don't know anyone else with this problem and can't find any help on this issue on the Zoom help website. I use a Bluetooth headset, and all my drivers are up to date. I can hear sounds from other apps only when I am not in a meeting.

How do I get the ZOOM app onto the Privacy access list?

I'm not having any luck in unblocking the camera. I can see and hear at Zoom meetings, but not seen.

Does Zoom need Windows permission? How do you fix that? I'm not very good at tech mazes; maybe someone

can walk me through that needed connection? Why is Zoom omitted from the apps with access list?

Error number received at clicking the video sign to join: #OxA00F4244 [no connection)

Checked re App Access which are all marked ON, but no Zoom app listed.

Suggestions, recommendations?

 

Can't hear other app audio when in a Zoom meeting

My computer is acting very strange. When I go into the control panel, I have two headsets show up. One has the title of "Headphones " and then says "LE_WH-CH700N Stereo". If I try to set this as the default, I can not hear anything else while the zoom meeting
is running, the test tone will not play, and the volume mixer simply will not work. There is another device called "Headset" and it says "WH-CH700N Hands-Free AG Audio Default Communications Device". If I set this as the default device, however, all my problems
are solved except that the audio quality is very poor and there is always static in the background. I don't think there is any solution to this, just wanted to let you know in case my headphones are bad or this is not supposed to happen.

Edit: the "stereo" headphones bring up the quality significantly and the volume mixer works with it but only when I'm not in a zoom meeting
