Windows 10: Solution to Microsoft Edge Shows a Blank Icon on Desktop in Windows 10/Windows 11

I just wanted to help the people who are facing this Microsoft Edge which shows a blank icon in desktop.It's a very simple solution. You just need to Repair Microsoft Ege to resolve this issue & get your Microsoft Edge icon back to Desktop.1. First of all, Open your Control Panel.2. Click on "Uninstall a Program" under Programs.3. Find the Microsoft Edge application & Right click on it and Click on Change This option Repairs your Edge application.4. Click on Yes on the popup which asks for "Uninstall or Change an application".5. Now, You will get a screen that says "Repair Microsoft

Windows 10 desktop icons not in order

In ccleaner, did you uncheck cleaning the icon cache... have not used in a while; however, I think that is what the option is called.

Now, if you are setting the icons and they move after you have set the settings and not changed them... you may have the "Random Windows 10 Icon movement problem".
Some people have this and some don't.

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Windows 10 Microsoft Edge Icon pinned on the task bar (only) is Blank image.

Up-to-date Windows 10 with Browser Microsoft Edge Icon pinned on the task bar (only) has no image, icon is blank whenever it is Inactive. It shows active window banner info when active. I have tried various suggestions routinely listed about the issue,
but it doesn't effect a correction. Of course not a huge deal, just another question among questions. Tried: SFC. DISM. Clear-icon-Cache. Restart Windows Explorer, and restart Taskbar. Command Pin/Unpin repeatedly from Start icon.

Is anyone aware of another potential solution, that is safe to try?
