Windows 10: Solve explorer crashes

Problem: - the desktop disappears, a light blue background, with in the middle a white box with a windows waiting icong circle going round. It looks like it tries to install something or so. it shows this for a few seconds.This problem is visible the first few minutes after logging in with the administrator account the other account seem not affected at all.What does not work:- open volume mixer- right click, go to taskbar settingsTrying to start the above shows the problem for few seconds and ends in not showing what is requested on the administrator account the other non admin accounts

Explorer crashing

Thanks Zat. I had never looked at event viewer and it had more info than I thought. Seems the problem was a second computer I was trying to network with. Unplugging the ethernet cable fixed the crashes. Explorer must have been looking in the wrong place I guess.

Effective Way to Solve the File Explorer Crashes Issue

You can try the following steps:

1. Tap down the Windows button first to activate the search bar.

my only suggestion for the vagueish problem description would be to check the event viewer for something a little... more information if it happens to be there..
control panel | administrative tools | event viewer check them all for the time of the crash, and try to gather data if possible so that the problem well has a chance of being solved maybe..
