Windows 10: [SOLVED] Changing the wallpaper on the BOOT, LOCK, and LOGON screens

Just want to share my experience here.

I was having a problem changing the wallpaper on the BOOT screen, the first one you see when you power on the computer.

I was only able to customize the wallpaper on my LOCK and LOGON screens through Windows Settings. The wallpaper on the BOOT screen, however, was a different story, because the system seemed to want to show its own pick.

Then, I found this tip by HeatherS1969. It worked. Thanks, HeatherS1969.

  What is the exact issue that you are facing?

  Are you facing issues while trying to change the lock screen Wallpaper?

  Are you not able to choose the directory where the wallpapers has been saved?
  

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to restart the computer and check if you are able to successfully change the lock screen wallpaper.

  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.
  
• 
  In Personalization window, click on
  Lock Screen in the left pane.
  
• 
  And choose wallpaper you would like to apply for the lock screen by choosing the browse option.
  
• 
  Close the Personalization window.

Automatically change logon screen wallpaper


Hi

It took me a while to discover that the lock screen and the logon screen are not the same thing. Thankfully I know know that they are different things.

Whenever I startup windows 10 I always land on the login screen, perfect for security reasons (the password) because I'm the only user of my laptop and I dont want anyone else using it without my permission. But there is a problem, I get tired of seeing the same login wallpaper each time I log on. Like the lock screen wallpaper and the desktop wallpaper can automatically be changed to a "new" picture, Id like to have the same functionality with my login screen. Does anybody know how I can do this? And I dont mean to change the picture on the login screen to just a new picture but to cycle between pictures in a folder of images (or even better windows spotlight pictures (as in the lock screen wallpaper).

Lock Screen to Logon Credentials not working as desired


The recent upgrade(s) of my Windows 10 Pro sees Version 1709 and OS Build 16299.19 loaded. My original settings of not seeing the lock screen picture not appearing on the logon screen has seen the lock screen picture not being displayed at all, instead it is just a plain colour. However if I allow the logon screen to appear on top of the lock screen picture, then the lock screen picture is visible. A change the picture, even to one of the defaults, it still doesn't work as desired.

Suggestions to resolve this issue welcomed.
