Windows 10: SOLVED!?!?!?! Intel RST & .NET 4.6

Discus and support SOLVED!?!?!?! Intel RST & .NET 4.6 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I read many posts about the Intel RST requiring .NET 4.5 here on TenForums and it bugged me that this was an issue.     SOLVED!?!?!?! Intel RST & .NET 4.6


    I read many posts about the Intel RST requiring .NET 4.5 here on TenForums and it bugged me that this was an issue. The 4.6 CLR is the same as 4.5. What Greig Mitchell sleuthed out was that it wasn't .NET, but a reconciliation issue between the OS and .NET for the installer.
    Intel punted on it - shame on them.

    One of the great mysteries solved ... hopefully.

    OS type in the context above is 32 bit (x86) or 64 bit (amd64)

    Raid Array won't initialize in disk management

    Update:

    Solved with latest Intel RST drivers, 15.9.0.1015. Specifically, ran the SetupRST.EXE download to update, and resolved the issues.

    Intel RST service is not running win 10 64bit

    Its a good idea to uninstall the intel RST 'software' from Programs & Features (if it exists there) before changing or updating the driver.
