Windows 10: SOLVED Unable to get into my device due to PIN.

I was using my laptop and I looked away for about 1 minute and come back to my laptop sleeping. I turn it back on and when I log in, my PIN is replaced with the text "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again." Now this wouldn't be an issue but I use this laptop for school and I have important files so I cannot just wipe the drive and start fresh. I haven't updated my details for 2FA in a while too so it is my old phone number.Any help would be greatly appreciated because I am off to school tomorrow.Edit : I fixed it by holding shift while pressing shut-do

OSK PIN login on non-touch device

Hello,

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.

• 
  Go to Settings and select account.
  
• 
  Click on sign in option and Go to PIN option.
  
• 
  Now click on Add and set PIN for login.
  

You can use the same PIN to login to your device using the on screen Keyboard from ease of access option and verify the result.

Unable to set PIN for log-in

• Did you encounter any error messages?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done to troubleshoot the problem?
• Which Windows 10 version/build is currently installed on your computer? To check, type
  winver in the search option.

• Have you made any relevant changes to your device prior to this happening?
