Windows 10: [Solved] When I try to open any .appx or .appinstaller or .msixbundle I get a white window...

I tried installing a couple apps, NanaZip and ChromaControl, and both gave the same error. White window, red/white circle/X icon, text reading "The app didn't start." Only option is to click OK. Looks just like the error seen here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/the-app-didnt-start/1d8d9632-91d8-449c-b2ea-e736ec2d0cb1 but that question never received a working fix, and that thread is locked so I can't reply.I spent three hours trying different PowerShell commands and restarting my PC before I finally created a solution.Open a PowerShell Terminal Admin and enter:

Appinstaller not working

The appinstaller only works with appx it dosent work for msix packages

 

You'll need a new app to open this ms-appinstaller

We have built an UWP package with VS2017. When we start installing the appx bundle on the user's machine, this error occurs: "You'll need a new app to open this ms-appinstaller". How to solve this problem?

hi I try to install Windows terminal msixbundle

I have script that install Microsoft.VCLibs.x64.14.00.Desktop.appx thats works

in the next line i try to install Microsoft.WinTerWin10_1.15.2874.0.msixbundle

and i get this error

looks like .appx can be installed but msixbudle not why idea?
