    Solving Error 1328 when repairing Microsoft Flight Simulator X


    Hello there,
    So this started when I was reinstalling FSX, after I mounted disc 2 the installation still works perfectly. Suddenly, the error 1328 popped up. It says:
    Error 1328.Error applying patch to file C:\Windows\Installer\Config.Msi\PT6F3E.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can be no longer modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor.
    Error 1328.Error applying patch to file C:\Windows\Installer\Config.Msi\PT700A.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can be no longer modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor.
    Error 1328.Error applying patch to file C:\Windows\Installer\Config.Msi\PT7078.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can be no longer modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor.
    Tried to find a solution online, but no help.
    Any help please? Thank you.

    Solve Error 1328 when downloading Flight Simulator X SP1

    Hello,

    I just downloaded Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and when I was trying to install the SP1 package, it popped out "Error 1328.Error applying patch to file c:\windows\Installer\Config.msi\PT4FB6.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no
    longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor." during installation.

    Can someone help me fix this error?

    Few questions to understand the situation better,

    What is the make and model of your computer?

    I suggest you to repair using the Repair for the Flight Simulator X installation.

    To repair Flight Simulator X installation, follow these steps:

    1. Insert the Flight Simulator X disc into your DVD drive.

    2. Select Repair, and then click Next.

    3. Follow the instructions to reinstall Flight Simulator X.
