Windows 10: some appointments in Win 10 Mail&Calendar app have the wrong time

There are a number of timezone related posts i have read, but none of the suggestions make any difference. The strange thing is that it is not all appointments which are wrong.1. I have shared my calendar with my wife and she adds appointments on her iPhone2. checking through MSGraph, the appointments have tzone://Microsoft/Custom as timezone infoHow do they displayn Outlook.com they have the correct timeon Outlook on Android they are correcton my Surface they are correcton my work laptop running Win 10 they are correcton my home desktop they are off by 11 hours, which is the AUS timezone

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Windows 10 calendar app can't invite others to appointments

No, this does not work. There is a list of people on the right side of the More Details screen, but I am the only person on the invitation and there is not an option to add more people.

Please send additional instructions for adding people to a calendar appointment.

Generally, I am pretty disappointed with the Windows 10 calendar and mail apps, more so considering all of the time they spent developing them. These apps seem to be half a step forward and two steps back in features.
