Windows 10: Some apps take 6 seconds to start

Hi guys,

This issue is driving me crazy. Suddenly several apps such as Chrome or Spotify take exactly 6 seconds to run when they used to open instantly a couple days ago (my hard drive is a SSD M2). Funny thing is that this only happens with the admin account, not with other users. I formated and reinstalled Windows 10 and everything was okay for some hours, but now I got the same issue. I have tried everything, it's really frustrating.

Could you guys help me? Thanks in advance and sorry about my English.

Stuck at OneDrive screen during Surface Pro 6 initial setup

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Try the below suggested steps.

Method 1

1. Unplug all the external devices except Mouse and Keyboard.
   
2. Try to reboot the device and check the status of the issue.
   

Method 2

I would suggest you to perform Power drain by following the suggested steps.

1. Press and hold the Power Button down for 30-40 seconds.
   
2. Hold the Volume Rocker up and Power ON for almost 20 second.
   
3. Release the power button and wait for next 10-15 seconds.
   
4. Press the power button to turn on your Surface and check the status of the issue.

NEWLY added apps are not showing on Start App list

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

1. Is Cortana able to search the apps installed?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if that helps.

• Type Start Settings in Search and hit
  Enter.
• Turn on Show recently added apps in jump list of Start of Taskbar.
