Windows 10: Some BSODS and an issue with windows updater. 0x800700c1

Hi everyone, I have been struggling with quite consistent BSOD's and have done the best I can reading online to solve the issue but I am now stuck.I recently looked at my pc's reliability and problem history and noticed the most persistent issue is with Windows Update stopping to work - wuauclt.exe crashing.Not sure if this is linked to the BSOD's but seems it needs to be tended to.0x800700c1 Is what windows has given me.Here are 2 links to what i have found wrong:https://gyazo.com/3da2099ad14515a2a7bd75ac974be835https://gyazo.com/cc6641e9d6683cb81874e235b6acef2fIm running:Win 10 pro 64Ryzen 5

Error 0x800700c1 in windows 10

I have got the error 0x800700C1 and could not update KB3115259, KB3167685, KB3163018 & KB3149135 since a week ago. I tried both you two methods but the result was the same. I don't wish to follow hbja to go back to "Factory Setting". Can you help me sort
it out with other solutions?

The error code 0x800700C1 occurs because the Windows Authenticode Signature Verification function now verifies portable executable (PE) files.

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if you can install the updates:

Method 1: Run Windows Update Troubleshooter

I suggest you to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter. Follow these steps to run Windows Update
troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + W and type
  troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Windows Update troubleshooter.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.

If the issue persists, follow next method.

Method 2:

I suggest you to check if the services responsible for Windows update is running. Refer to these steps:

• Press Windows key +R, type “services.msc”
• Locate the BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer
  and the Windows Update Services and check if it is running.
• If not, right click on the service and click start to start the service.

Windows Update (BSOD)

Hi Guys.
I have Built a Machine for Crunching a few days ago and I have some issues with Windows Update.

I have installed all Windows Updates but there are around 9 left without been installed becasue everytime i try to install it the Machine Crash and I get a BSOD, can someone tell me what could be causing that Windows Updates makes a Machine crash and get BSOD?
