Windows 10: Some combinations holding shift down does not type an uppercase

This is a strange one on windows 10.This typing issue occurs on both external and internal keyboards on a dell 5400 laptop, and both SHIFT keys left and right.We use acronyms often like most organizations.One of our common acronyms is VBP.And we use it so much that I type it fast.If I type it fast while holding SHIFT down, I get VbP. Only the b is lowercase.I either have to type it slow with a pause before B or correct it.Why?What can I do to prevent this?

Shift key not working when holding down a key

Hello,

I got a new pc today and i realised i couldnt sprint properly in any games. I changed keyboards thinking that was the problem but I still wasnt able to sprint.

When holding down a key and I press shift, the key i was holding will stop typing and nothing happens. I double tap shift (which sometimes works) and then the next keys will be an uppercase. or when i try get an uppercase letter, i hold shift and press the
key once and it still wont work.

I reinstalled the drivers, turned off sticky keys.

If anyone could help me, that would be much appreciated!

 

E5 how to I type an SMS in uppercase or capital letters

How do I type an SMS or email in uppercase or capital letters. E5 does not appear to have an option to switch to typing uppercase or to type numbers continously. We appear to have to use the shift keys always.



Eg : if I want to type 1234567890 they I have to press the up arrow key ten times to type 10 numbers or hold the keys for a long time till the number appears.



The same is the case for email too.



Am I missing something. I saw another post dated
aug 2007 that indicated that for QWERT keypad this is not available.

For continous typing of numbers - press the function key twice

For capital letter or uppercase - press the shift key twice. Take note, you will not be able to move to the uppercase mode from the beginning. Type a single character first and then use the shift key twice.
