Some entries in "Other Devices" are a mystery--can't figure them out

I know, technically speaking, none of this matters in terms of a Windows 10 computer functioning normally. Yes, us folks who have OCD tendencies must refrain from the focus as one looks at Windows logs for Application and System, wondering why there are warnings and errors appearing for various things... and told "yeah, that's a rabbit hole, so forget about it."

"Other Devices" in the Device Manager list is rather small, contained, and so my hope is that I can satisfy this dangling annoyance. Somehow I have a couple entries there that look very peculiar. A name like 1.00000000000000000120. Who names their driver like this? No driver provider, no manufacturer. And yet, "device is working properly." Heck, if you don't even know what it is, how can you know it's working right? Go figure.

So I uninstalled these two "offenders," let's call them 120 and 143. Well, upon rebooting, they're back again. I tried running driver update... nothing found. NOTE: My laptop is not connected to anything via Bluetooth in this state.

Does anyone here have a clue as to what these might be? I don't recall ever seeing them before, not since my laptop just updated to Windows 10 version 20H2, build 19042.

NOTE: I did read up a bit about the "Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator" and... it sounds like a deprecated technology. Is it possible that my laptop happens to have hardware in the motherboard that supports this, but Windows 10 does not and so it's essentially listed under "Other Devices" but without any real purpose?

    :)

    Device Manager "other" entries

After a fresh W10 1703 fully updated install on a 3148 Inspiron laptop, four OTHER DEVICES appear in Device Manager: PCI Data Aqquisition and Signal Processing Controller and three 'unknown devices.' "Drivers not installed; no compatible driver can be found."

Prior to this install several Intel drivers were listed under Programs and Features. likely because they were added after the fact. They are not listed now and Intel's update utility reports nothing missing. SFC is good and PC operation is normal.

The errant entries are redetected at boot even if disabled, or uninstalled via Safe Mode. Suggestions on banishing them for good would be appreciated.

  3. Am I getting the most out of my SSD?

    Step 1
Press "Windows-X" in Windows 8, and then select "Device Manager." In Windows 7 or Vista, click the "Start" button, type "device manager" into the search box, and then press "Enter."

    Step 2
Click the arrow next to "IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers" to display the list of controller drivers currently used by your system.

    Step 3
Check for an entry that contains the acronym "AHCI." If an entry exists, and there is no yellow exclamation mark or red "X" over it, then AHCI mode is properly enabled. If you don't see an "AHCI" entry, or the only entry contains a red or yellow mark, then there's a problem and AHCI mode is not properly enabled.
