Windows 10: Some few Windows/MS programs use an old sign-in email that no longer exists. No...

The email I rergisterd with Microsoft/Windows years ago no longer exits. Yet on one or two necessary sign-ins, that old address is listed. I'm not able, of coure to verify that email or anything else regarding that email - as it truly does not exist. However, I've been through virtually every identifying information aspect of the MS website, and nowhere does that old address appear. So I haven't been able to change it. Any ideas about what to do?Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

I think people missed that MS did not say "Internet" in the program list. Just Email, Photo, Movie.

 

Windows 10 Sign-in with Old email

The problem is my administrator sign-in for Win 10 only works with an old, no-longer-active email address. When I attempt to sign-in to Win 10 with my current, active MS account email, it rejects my password, even though I know it has been entered correctly.
Strangely, once I sign in to Win 10 with the old email, I can then log into my MS account with the current email and password.

I also have a local Win 10 sign-in account (non-administrator).

Ideally I would like the Win 10 administrator account to be my local account, with a non-administrator account using my current, active MS email.

How I can delete the old administrator account and change it to my local account?

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.
