Unable to download 3 specific games from Microsoft Store. 'MudRunner', 'Pathologic 2' and 'Infinifactory'. I also have the Xbox app and having the same issue when using this.

I have no problems so far with any other applications or games. Can download and update others with no problems so seems specific to these 3 games.

The download error for these 3 is 'Windows Update is disabled. You can repair Windows Update by running the Windows Update troubleshooter in Settings.' but this definitely is not the case. Window update is not disabled and is functioning as expected.

    :)

  2. Microsoft Store freezes when installing a game

    Hi. thibautgontier

My name is Anthony, an Independent Advisor trying to help.

In this case, first, log in to your Microsoft account. Next, try these possible solutions in the order they are displayed.

    1. Make sure Windows has the latest update: Select Check for updates now and then select Check for updates. Or, select the Start button and then Settings> Update and security> Windows Update> Check for updates. If an update is available, select Install now.

    2. Make sure your application works with Windows 10. For more information, see The application does not work with Windows 10.

    3. Update Microsoft Store: Select the Start button and then, in the list of applications, choose Microsoft Store. In the Microsoft Store, select View more> Downloads and updates> Get updates. If an update is available for the Microsoft Store, it will begin
    to install automatically.

    4. Troubleshoot games: If you have problems installing a game, see Troubleshoot game installations in Windows 10.

    5. Repair or reset applications: See Repair or remove programs in Windows 10.

    6. Reinstall the applications: In the Microsoft Store, select View more> My library. Select the application you want to reinstall and then choose Install.

    7. Run the troubleshooter: Select the Start button and then Settings> Update and security> Troubleshoot and then, in the list, choose Applications from the Store.

    Best Regards.

  3. Using games from the microsoft store

Based on the results you've obtained, this can be an issue with the Windows Store which affects the digital games you’ve downloaded from it. We suggest manually resetting the Windows Store cache. Here are the steps:

    • Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
    • Type WSReset.exe and click OK.
    • The Store and a command prompt will now open with any message. The command prompt will automatically close after the Store's cache has been reset.
Once done with the reset, kindly click this
    link
and follow the steps on how to check for updates for apps and games from Windows Store. Search if there are any updates available for the affected game.

Keep us updated with the progress.
