Being one myself, my system is as trim as possible. But there are several illogical and infuriating cross-links in how Windows 10 performs. This is just info for any one interested. Trying to be helpful *Smile

I don't use a Microsoft account. Never will. I will never use the store or cloud storage.
So, I disabled the AppXsvc service. This is for store apps only... Well, actually, it controls personalization options. If you disable this service the Themes page on Personalize will crash.

I don't use tiles. I use ClassicShell for my start menu. So I disabled the Tile Data Model Server service. This causes the logon process to be extended by 20+ seconds and causes other problems with context menu functionality.

If you don't have a Wi-fi adapter in your PC it would seem reasonable that you could disable the Radio Management service. Nope. Doing so forces the PC into a Sort-of-airplane mode that kills access to your network connections from every entry point (Eg System Tray, Settings app etc).

If you have a Wi-Fi adapter in your PC but disabled in BIOS W10 ignores the fact that it's disabled and enables it itself, installs drivers and enables your wi-fi connections.

So if you're one of those people who like to take your tuning to the extreme, watch out for these ones.

Any one know of any others?

    :)

Disabling RmSvc will prevent displaying list of available WiFi networks, I have not noticed what you are mentioning, unless you mean, that it shows, no internet connection. Then again, unless you change network settings on daily basis, it is not really a problem. I have Network Store Interface disabled actually. *Smile

Network icon showing but clicking does nothing Solved - Windows 10 Forums

I have a list of network connections that I select from. VPN L2TP, IKEv2, and I have multiple Ethernet adapters as I have two networks here and I can change between them. So when this service is disabled, I cannot select the network connection I want to use.... There is just no way as all entry points are disabled.

My Wi-Fi is disabled in the BIOS but W10 still installs drivers and enables it. Hence, why the service is running. I never use Wi-Fi and would remove the adapter from my motherboard if I could.
