    I've noticed recently and noticed it before that many Windows apps need to be opened before they can detect updates. All apps that need updating are never shown in the Microsoft Store. Because I reinstall Windows so often, a lot of apps need to be updated individually, which is cumbersome. Such applications as: Photos. When I open the Photos app, Windows updates the "Photo Add-on" in the background and then restarts the Photos app. Is there any way to avoid these extra operations?

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

    This seems to be an issue with compatibility on Windows 10.

    I suggest you to install the game in compatibility mode on Windows 10 and check.

    Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode.

    • Right click on the game installation file and select Properties then click the
      Compatibility tab.
    • Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
    • Tap the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then click
      OK.
    • Try installing the game and check.

    • What happens when you try to attach files?
    • Did you receive any error message?
    • Which application are you talking about?
    • Which was the previous operating system installed on the computer?
    I suggest you to run the program in Compatibility mode and check if it helps, please follow the below steps:

    • Right click on the Program
    • Click on Properties
    • Click on Compatibility tab
    • Select Run this program in compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
