Some jpg image files spontaneously copy

My laptop contains many jpg images and copies of about 300 of them keep appearing, spontaneously. These copies have the same name as the originals with the suffix (1) attached. It is the same files that keep copying. I keep deleting the copies but the next day they are back again. The properties of the originals are no different from other jpg files that don't copy, so I can't determine why this keeps happening. The files are spread through a number of sub-folders so they are not grouped together. I have the latest version of W10. Any help would be appreciated.

    :)

List pictures from multiple location in same window?

One last question, if there are multiple versions of a file are they listed one after the other in the text file, or could one of the same image be further down the list after other image names?

For example could copie of image 1 be listed as follows in the text file:

    somepath/1.jpg

    somepath/1.jpg

    somepath/2.jpg

    somepath/2.jpg

    somepath/2.jpg

    somepath/3.jpg

    somepath/3.jpg

    somepath/1.jpg

    somepath/2.jpg

    somepath/2.jpg

  3. Where to get Windows desktop images - like the ones shown on login.

    They're stored here:

    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\Assets

(Type the path in Explorer address bar)

Copy the files to a separate folder, and add .JPG extension for each file. To do that quickly, in the folder where you copied the Spotlight images, click the File menu, and select Open command prompt. Typing the following command would add
the JPG extension for all files:

    REN * *.JPG
