    Some keys do not work after July windows update.


    asus q504uak some keys do not work after recent windows update.

    I have an asus Q504uak laptop and after the recent windows update several keys on my laptop stopped working. Qxcvm,. and keypad enter no longer work. I am using the onscreen keyboard which works fine. I tested an external keyboard and it also works. This is obviously an issue with the update and the drivers which are not working correctly. Many others have the same issue. Is there a way to upload the correct driver or can I reinstall an older version of windows? I did not see a driver available on the asus site.

    Windows 10 update July 2017

    Hello Meg,

    it will tell you it was they last update on the computer. It should be the first recover option on the list, I only had one option to select.

    Although my backup date was July 17, 2017.

    Yours may be similar?

    Equals Key Wont Work

    We suggest that you update the keyboard driver. You may follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows logo + X key on the keyboard.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Keyboards.
    • Click on the driver and click on Update Driver Software.
    • Click on Next and follow the steps in the wizard that appears.
