Windows 10: Some keys stopped working Win10, but ONLY whith online apps.

HP laptop with i7 and Win10-64 home. Fully patched.


Starting this summer I noticed that backspace, when editing text online (like on Facebook), got an erratic response, sometimes not deleting at all, sometimes one or two characters per a couple of seconds, sometimes quicker. However backarrow and then delete works well.


Lately I noticed also writing text is becoming erratic. Especially uppercase "D" and "8" when used by the numeric pad (but no problems from the upper row above "U".


The problems are the same on all online applications (also this text window). But NOT when editing OFFline apps like with "notepad, local-word, et.c."


I have had my vendor of AV "Webroot" analyzing it as if it was some sort of attack?, they found nothing.


I have tried to deinstall and reinstalling the keyboard driver, to no avail.


I cant be HW, as then it would not work with offline apps either. It´s not being online either, as editing this window keeps the problems when I disconnect from internet, with this window still open. But it is related to using a browser, but no specific browser, since the problems are the same with IE, Firefox and Chrome.


Problems persist when deactivating Webroot AV and Heimdal and rebooting.


I work with root cause analysis for the industry on a daily basis, but this one beats me...

down arrow key stopped working

My razor lycosa down arrow key decided to not respond at some point today. The other ones work and so does the numpad arrow if i turn off the numlock. Sounds like its just broken and im screwed, but any suggestions?

 

random keyboard keys stop working?

i went out today and everything was fine, i come home and three random keys stopped working, maybe more i havent noticed yet. the three key on the left side of the keyboard not working, the left shift stopped working, and the enter key stopped working, but the one on the numpad works fine. no one was home to use it, nothing spilled on it, i tried it on another computer and same deal. im gonna go buy a new one tomorrow but it makes me sad cause i loved this keyboard lol, microsoft ergonomic 4000. ill probably buy the same exact one if its in stock tomorrow, this one lasted or 4 years about. im just confused why three random keys spread out stopped working at the same time...seems very weird

 

Win10 apps stopped working


This happened a few days ago, maybe a week, the Win10 native apps stopped working. The image viewing app doesn't work, Mail doesn't work, Calendar doesn't work... I haven't checked the others yet, but I'm sure the answer is it don't work.

"There is a problem with mail. Please contact your administrator about repairing or reinstalling it"

When I click on start the Mail and Calendar icons have a little white exclamation mark in a circle in the lower right corner.
