    Some keys won't work unless if I press them in combination with the windows key


    A, F, X, C, N, Comma, full stop, forward slash, Left Alt

    These keys are currently not working unless if press them in combination with the windows key which makes "C" open the file explorer and makes "full stop" log me off. I've already followed standard troubleshooting rebooting, CTRL+ALT+P, checking if Num Lock is on, changing system language and tried cleaning some keys. This is on a laptop running Windows 10.

    Thanks for following up. In here, you can find the list of all the keyboard shortcuts in Windows 10. Check it out and
    see which key combinations are still working on Windows 10, and which are not.

    We also tested on our end and only the Alt + F and Alt + P are working fine, and this is on a PC that is on the Fall Creators Update. May we suggest that you update your operating system to 1709 and see if the key combinations will work.

    We'll keep an eye out to your response.

    Booting without press any key

    @dhievm go ahead and list the model number that gives exact specs/info.


    Does it stop right at the Toshiba logo and sit there? Will it sit forever til you press a key, or will it eventually work after so long?

    Key combinations not working

    Yes it is supposed to work, but the combination of keys I listed are completely unresponsive. When I physically click the 'View' tab, then try to use the Alt+P combination, I get a windows noise and nothing happens.

    So while I have the View menu already open, I get a sound. But in ALL other circumstances across all applications or none at all, those combinations simply don't recognise as being pressed.

    If I could upload a video to show you, I would.
