Windows 10: Some of my keyboard key are not working and making noise

Hi, I've just installed windows 10 on my laptop and installed drivers for it from the Lenovo site and everything was working fine until most of my keyboard keys stopped working and started making noises on clicks, I've seen that this is usually due to sticky keys or filter keys but when I went to check, I found that they were already disabled.i have restarted it so many times now and it just won't work, so I was wondering if there is a solution or do I just need to try another windows installation.

Step 1: You may check if the ALT key is functioning correctly in on-screen keyboard. It will help us to verify if there is any issue with the keyboard.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

  Windows + Q, type OSK (on-screen keyboard)

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...

It must be difficult when things do not work as expected.

If you are not able to access keyboard, I suggest you to follow the steps below:

• Right Click on Start Menu and choose
  Control Panel.
• From Control panel, choose Ease
  of Access Centre and click on
  On Screen Keyboard.

If the keys are working fine on On Screen Keyboard,
I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard drivers and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device
Manager”.

2. In the list of devices, you should see the Keyboard drivers. (Expand if required).

3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".

4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.

5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan
for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
