    Some of my laptop keys are not working after keeping it on sleep last night. Affected keys- Caps, windows, w, and 2. Also makes beeping sound when pressed. Edge browser keeps opening the more i close it.

    Keeps resizing after sleep

    Hopefully I can explain this properly.
    I'm having an issue with video. Ever since i upgraded to a gtx 660 ti when returning from sleep the resolution seems to change.
    I keep having to "resize" the desktop slightly.
    Its fine returning from games, or anything else seems to be fine...but everytime my monitor goes into sleep and I wake it, the screen is wrong. Either it will have black bars all the way around the screen, or it will be too large for the screen.
    Its easily fixed using the resize button in the nvidia control panel, but its getting old.

    The system was freshly formatted when I upgraded.
    I've tried uninstalling drivers and re-installing using the latest versions to no avail.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Laptop keeps going to sleep


    I have an HP 8540 laptop. I have the power settings set to high performance and all the options to go to sleep when plugged in are set to off/no.
    HOWEVER, it keeps going to sleep even when things like a download is running. There r a few things like my 3D printer program that will keep it awake. I did however have it go to sleep a couple of times during a print and I changed something (I forgot what it was) and it stopped doing that but not for other things and not in general. When plugged in I do not want it to go to sleep unless I press my power button. I don't have a sleep button, but that is also set to no sleep.

    It does not go to sleep if I am actively using the mouse and/or kbd.

    I had HP power assist running but I shut that down and it still goes to sleep.
    everything is up to date.

    Why?????? and what to do???????

    Windows keeps turning off at night

    My laptop keeps turning off at night and forcing me to log in every morning in the last two days and re-open everything. This is extremely frustrating as I've been downloading important files overnight, only to have them corrupt.

    The settings say that hibernate and put the computer to sleep are all set at "never".
