  1. "Some of these settings are managed by your organization" but I OWN my personal laptop?

I only see it so far under settings > personalization > lock screen. I want to change my lockscreen wallpaper though. I checked under accounts to make sure no school or work account is linked. It's JUST my Microsoft account. I haven't linked it to anything either. I also do not have any like ad blockers or security systems downloaded or anything. Please help! It's a Lenovo YOGA 7 on windows 11 and is fully up to date.

    :)

  2. See settings managed by organization

Hello Dave, thanks for helping me

Well, it is kind of annoying and abnormal to my opinion that, as computer owners, we do not get a list of the settings managed by our organization.

I am a student that is using his private computer with two accounts, the first as my personal account, and the other as the "work or school account".
I am indeed sometime getting the "this setting is managed by your organization" message (even though I know it's not an "error"); thus, I would have liked to have an exhaustive list of all the settings that are managed by my organization without needing to check every settings page and tabs one by one.

"Some of these settings are managed by your organization" but I OWN my personal laptop?

*Some settings are managed by your organization

Did that and it doesn't work.

Open Start Menu and type gpedit.msc.

    • Right click on gpedit.msc and Run as Administrator.
    • Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Data Collection and Preview Builds.
    • Find Allow Telemetry and double click on it.
    • Change its setting to Enabled and change the drop down menu entry to 3-Full.
    • Click on Apply and OK.
    • Again open the file and change setting like before. That means change Enabled to Not Configured.
    • Still see: *Some settings are managed by your organization.

Then tried regedit suggestion from other community person that didn't work:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > Policies > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > PushNotifications.

Now you will see NoToastApplicationNotification. Double click on it.

Now change its value 1 to 0. 1 is default value. You will make it 0.

    Click on OK.

Now, Sign out your Microsoft Account. Sign in again.

Issue with this suggestion is that there is no "PushNotifications" listed.
