Windows 10: Some program windows do not display correctly in Windows 10

Hello,


I have an unusual display issue whereby some program windows do not display properly.


The programs run/open just fine and everything looks as though it's all good.

Then I click on a button to launch a certain feature of the program.

The wizard window that subsequently opens contains a number of elements/options that you need to select before progressing to the next window in the process.

However, these elements/options do not display.


I addressed this with the software manufacturers for the affected programs, thinking that perhaps the issue was with the software.

Two of them even logged in remotely to see if they could solve it, but to no avail.


The fact that this issue occurs with multiple similar programs leads me to believe that the issue is with the machine (I know, I'm a regular Sherlock Holmes!).

As you can see above, the drop-down and selection elements just do not display at all on my machine. This is an example from one software tool I use, but it also occurs for another similar program made by a different publisher entirely.


To further exacerbate the issue, my PC is the exact same as two others in the office (all bought at the same time) and neither of those have this display issue.


Any advice on what you think the issue could be would be very much appreciated.


This is my last-ditch attempt at finding a resolution before completely resetting the PC

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

 

Add Remove Programs in Windows XP doesn't finish loading program list?!

Add Remove Programs in Windows XP doesn't finish loading the program list (It never even starts displaying any programs) and I believe it may be that a uninstall program messed up completely and Windows can't figure out what programs are installed because of it. What is the problem? Please?
