Windows 10: Some programs can't connect to internet, troubleshooter errors, can't download program...

So this started a few days ago when I opened up Google Chrome and realised none of the tabs were connecting to the internet, while Firefox was and still is working just fine. I've looked through many answers given for similar issues on many different sites and I'm starting to think this might be a hopeless case and I'll have to reinstall Windows from the ground up.So issues that have sprung up:Chrome and some other apps cannot connect to the internet, however Firefox and Steam have no problems Discord could until this morning, and now it's failing to update so won't start upI previously ha

Try the following steps:

• 
  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Click “View All”
  
• 
  Select "Internet Explorer connection"
  
•

I can´t connect to the internet on applications

I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and I ca´t connect to internet in any application besides the ones that come with Windows. For Example: I tried to sign my account of spotify in the application and says it is not connected to the internet while
I am using Microsoft Edge. Also while trying to download uTorrent it downloaded fine in the browser, but then in the application to install the program it can't download anything and this has happened with every other application that needs internet. Please
help
