Windows 10: Some programs I want to run needs free space in my Local Disk...

Oh, yes! I finally installed something after 20 minutes! Starts the program.

I'm so excited, aha! Please be ready! Wait a second... what's this message?

"Sorry, 7GB of free space on an internal drive required." UGH, time to get Disk Cleanup.


In some programs, there is a message saying I need free space in my Local Disk (C. When I get it, I run Disk Cleanup and clean absolutely nothing. I even checked View Files and nothing was there. Also, I uninstalled like 4 apps and still, NOTHING! And, yes, my Local Disk is fine. So there's no need to clean.


I also went on Local Disk (C and searched up "size:gigantic" and all of the files were System32 and SysWOW64 stuff.


It's so stupid. I just want to run the program, okay? I just want one easy step, that can clean like 10 GB.

Tell me anything to clean this stupid thing.

Running out of space on local disk

I have a pc. Hard Drive C has 385 gb out of 1 terabyte free.

Local disk I has 46.6 mb free out of 423 mb. There are no external drives connected to the computer. I keep getting a message telling me that I am running out of space on local disk I.

But when I click on the disk in windows explorer, it is empty even if I try to show hidden files. When I try to clean up the disk, all I get are options to save space by cleaning up the Direc X Shader Cahce which has 0 bytes in it and the Recycle Bin which
also has 0 bytes in it.

What exactly is this local disk? It has less free space than several days ago. How do I clean up something to free up space that shows no files in it?

What happens when it runs out of space in terms of the performance on the computer?

Sorry to ask what might be simple questions, but I'm pretty stumped at this point about what to do.

Local Disk E out of space

I don't have a local disk E. I have a 250GB ssd and a 1TB hdd, yet I keep getting a popup saying that my local disk E is running low on space and can be cleaned. When I follow through with this, it lists <DirectX Shader Cache> and <Recycle Bin> but both
are 0 bytes.
