Windows 10: Some screensavers uninstall/hide unexpectedly after installation

Hello guys! I have an issue that is on 2 of my PC, on both my HP laptop running Windows 10 1607 and my Microsoft Surface Go running Windows 10 1803, every time I install a screensaver from the old days, it unexpectedly disappears from the drop-down menu.


When just installed: (1800x1200)

Query to uninstall screensavers

Perform the steps mentioned below and see if it helps.

• In the search box, type *.scr. This will search for all screensaver files.
• When the search is done, locate the screensaver you want to uninstall. You may need to look at the path to figure out if it's the one you want.
• When you've found it, right click on it and choose Delete.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.

 

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused
