    Some steam problems


    I have a few problems with steam

    • Steam takes a long time to load with windows after startup. My other programs loads instantly.
    • Steam asks me to sign in manually when I boot windows, instead of signing in automatically. Checking the remember password option doesn't solve it.
    • Steam pops up with my friendlist after signing in, I want it to start minimized in the notification area.

    I have tried getting in touch with steam support but they didnt seem to want to solve the problems.

    Steam Game Issue

    Some details of what is, or is not happening may help, but if you have a lot of games not working the problem could be

    due to a corrupt Steam Client.

    You can find help for reinstalling/repairing the Steam Client in your Steam...

    Help > Steam Support > Steam Client > Steam Crashes ( Click this tab for troubleshooting suggestions).

    - Some games require you to run Steams Verify Integrity of Game Files after each of the Win10 version\feature updates.

    Why has Windows 10 bricked Fallout New Vegas

    I had the same problem with L.A. Noire on Steam.

    I solved this problem by verifying the local files. Steam corrected some of them and the game then runned perfectly...

    If you exit Steam and decide to go back in, it'll take a few seconds to load. However once loaded, opening it is fairly instant. At least on my machine. And I've got my game directory on a HDD drive.

    I have it installed to an SSD and set to run with Windows and it takes about that long for me as well.

    It takes me like 30 seconds before I can log in. At least for me.

    It used to take that long but a recent windows update seems to have fixed that issue, or maybe it was a steam update. Either way, steam doesn't take forever to load like it used to.
