    Some times. when the laptop wakes up from hibernation it restarts with DPC WATCHDOG...


    When I start the laptop from hibernation, I see a black screen for a while about 30 senconds, and then, the laptop reboots with a blue screen which display DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION.This is the WinDbg analysis of the memory dump about 1.3GB:******************************************************************************** ** Bugcheck Analysis ** ***********************************

    When the Laptop wakes up from hibernation it restarts with DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION stopcode

    When I close the lid of the laptop, it does to hibernation. When I open the laptop lid, I see a black screen for a while. And then, the laptop reboots with a blue screen which display DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION.

    Hi,

    It is possible that your hard drive caused the issue. To assist you with the concern, you may follow the steps provided below on how to fix
    Windows 10 error: DPC Watchdog Violation.:

    • Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound and Device Manager.
    • Open the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers section.
    • Select the controller that says "SATA AHCI", right click then select
      Properties.
    • Select the Driver tab and Driver Details.
    • Select Update Driver Software, Browse and Let me Pick from a list of devices.
    • Select "Standard SATA AHCI Controller" from the list and then
      install.

    Do update us with the results and if further assistance is needed..
