Windows 10: Some troubles with RRAS IKEv2 with EAP or MSCHAPv2 with MAC/Iphone, Android and linux machines

I built an RRAS server on Windows 2016 tested in 2022 too for the purpose of using IKEv2 service.So I prepared the certificate template from my authority with the following parameters:- The desired duration- Authority compatibility => Windows Server 2016- Recipient compatibility => Windows 10 / Windows Server 2016- Extensions: - Application Policies: Server Auth / IPSEC IKE intermediate / Client Auth / non-critical extension - Key Usage: Digital signature / Allow key exchange only with key encryption / extension critical- Security: Give access to my RRAS computer object to make t

Nokia 500 EAP-MSCHAPv2 support?

So apparently I am trying to connect to a WLAN network (Eduroam) that needs EAP-MSCHAPv2 protocol but apparently I can't see it in EAP protocols list.

So is there really no EAP-MSCHAPv2 support in Nokia 500?

And is EAP-MSCHAPv2 protcol something that can be fixed within a software or is it a hardware issue? Will it be added to Symbian Belle update which every Nokia 500 owner is so desperately waiting for?

It's a pity, since even older models (S60v3) supported EAP-MSCHAPv2 protocol and as far as I know, all other Symbian Anna phones support it.

 

How to connect to AP with WPA2, EAP-PEAP, MSCHAPv2 and MAC Filtering? 5800

I am trying to connect to the company network, but it always shows "PEAP authentication failed".



There are only instructions for iPhone and PC.

authority certificate : None

Security Type : PEAP

Inner Link Security : EAP-MSCHAPv2

additionally MAC address filtering.



The access point I set is as follows:



network status: public

wLAN network mode: infrastructure

security: WPA/WPA2

WPA2 only mode: off

EAP plug-in setting: EAP-PEAP enable only



personal certificate: not defined

authority certificate: not defined

user name: user-defined BLANK

realm in use: user-defined BLANK

allow PEAPv0



MSCHAPv2

user name: username

password: mypassword



We have domain, but there are no command about domain in iPhone guide.

Is there anything wrong of my setting?

 

e70 - EAP-MSCHAPv2 problem

hello,

i just want to configure my 802.1X connection with EAP-MSCHAPv2 but as soon as is go to "EAP plug-in settings" i dont see anything in the general tab, and when i try to choose "options" of EAP-MSCHAPv2 in the "EAP" tab the settings window disappears and im
back in the main menu..

anybody knows about this bug? i have the newest firmware on my nokia e70.
