Windows 10: Some videos only play audio if mono audio is turn on

    Some videos only play audio if mono audio is turn on


    Starting a few days ago some videos on youtube and twitter would not play any audio at all, however my volume mixer would act as if they were playing audio even though no sound was coming out of my headset. After some messing around I discovered that the muted videos would only play audio if I turned mono audio ON instead of off.

    I had this problem again a few months ago but was able to find a youtube video to fix it, but I can no longer find what that video was. has anybody had this happen or knows a way to fix this? I know for a fact it isn't a problem with my headset because when I first fixed it I remember only needing to change a setting in windows but I can't remember what that setting was.

    I appreciate any help.

    Headphones only outputting audio in mono

    Hello,

    I'd like to play Stereo audio when my headphones are plugged in to my 3.5mm audio port, but they are only outputting in Mono. Stereo works when using them through Bluetooth, but I often use them wired and would like them to play Stereo properly that way
    as well.

    System specifications:

    Windows 10 64 bit home

    3.5mm Audio jack

    Realtek Audio

    JBL live 650btnc-le headphones

    My audio drivers are all up to date.

    The "mono" audio option in Ease of Access is turned off.

    Turning audio enhancements on or off in the properties menu doesn't solve the problem.

    Restarting the computer doesn't solve the problem.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    How to play mono audio ONLY when NOT plugged in headphone in windows 10?

    My laptop's right speaker has broken, so I want to play mono audio when using internal speakers. In windows 10 there is an option to turn on mono audio in setting. But it makes my headphone, which is working fine, to play mono audio as well.
    How do I turn on mono audio when using laptop's internal speakers and turn off (back to stereo) when headphone is plugged in (without changing the setting every time)?

    Accessablility Question: Mono Audio

    Please, I don't think it's too much to ask for mono audio. My stupid phone can do mono audio with a simple slider, I'm half-deaf and it's just frustrating not being able to hear music or videos the way they're supposed to sound. I know the demand for this
    is super small, but I'd be super appreciative if some attention could be given to it.
