  1. Some Win10 apps broken including windows store

I updated 2 days ago to version 2004. Today I noticed that my image viewer aint working then I found few more that are not working including windows store. I tried every powershell command I can find but it doesn't work. I also tried resetting the app via apps and features but it didn't work.

The apps looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/aIi50QE

    help anyone?

edit: I am on windows 10 home.

  2. Store app broken

    Last suggestion I have:

Try the control Panel Trouble shooter:
    Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting
    Press view all and select
    Windows Store apps

I'm not sure if this online trouble shooter works with Win10, but it is another thing you can try:

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Some Win10 apps broken including windows store :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

    Store app broken

Still have the problem, even after a reboot. I'm not sure what update broke this, but I think I'll have to do a System Restore back a couple of days.
