  1. Someone is repeatedly trying to access or hack My Microsoft account

I have this same issue. Three authenticator attempts just this morning. Dozens of unsuccessful attempts daily - but when will they succeed I have to wonder. The advice from a respondent said to create an alias and only use that alias to sign in nothing else. Disable all other email aliases sign in ability. However, I use Authenticator and no password as recommended by the MS security page. Before I disable all other aliases, do I need to change anything on Authenticator so I can still log on?

    :)

    Hacking account

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Where are you seeing the attempts to hack your Microsoft account, is that on the recent activity web page on your Microsoft account online on this link?

Sign in to your Microsoft account

if that is where you are seeing it, there is no way for you to stop that, it is some bot online trying to access your account, ensure you have a good long and strong password on your Microsoft account to ensure it cannot be hacked, and it may be a good idea to enable two step verification on your account also, eventually that bot will move on to try to hack someone else's account.

  4. Someone is repeatedly trying to access or hack My Microsoft account

Trying to switch to Microsoft account from local, unable to...

I tried that, more than once. I go thru the complete procedure of getting a new Microsoft account password, then when I reach the final step to key in the Windows password, I try my NEW Microsoft account password, and I get the same message-invalid password. No luck. Any other suggestions.
