    someone knew my password, and used it to log in into my pc, also giving himself administrator. when he did that, he stripped my admin off me and now i cant use my pc normallty anymore, i tried using the command prompt but that doesnt work too

    Shortcut Data being stripped out

    Ran Dism.exe process and restarted. Had previously run sfc /scannow process with no corruption discovered. After restart, problem persists - several URL shortcuts were stripped of urls.

    Am open to further suggestions.

    thanks for all the suggestions but i don't think it happened at the lan, possible just not very likely, i know most of the dudes there and there pretty cool, there were a few i didn't know but i doubt very much that someone would have been able to strip my comp with out someone stepping in

    Removing a Stripped Screw from an HD4850

    So here's my problem, I just some some new coolers, on my 4850's, but ran into a small problem on one of them. I turns out the heads on one of the screws that holds on the bracket is completely stripped. I have removed stripped screws before, but it usually involves drilling or dremeling it out, and I'm pretty sure that sparks would be a bad thing. Any suggestions?
