    In this machine to install Win7 it took 10 freaking hours

    Change the Power Supply or the Harddrive. Id start with the PSU first 250 just seems way too light for a machine these days, get a 400 Watt Brand PSU as they are pretty cheap now. Id suggest also using Killdisk to Zerowipe the HD, if you just want windows on the machine.

    In this machine to install Win7 it took 10 freaking hours

    Well the slimline 220W in an Acer Aspire I had powered a Phenom X3 8450, Seagate slim 7200.12, and the integrated 8200, so idk.

    I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Someone took over machine started typing asking for $ :p
