Windows 10: "Something didn't go as planned" with Windows 11 update Error code: 0x80070003

My Dell computer won't update. At first, it would install updates, and then the screen would flash on and off and I'd be unable to access any programs or files most of the screen; the Task Manager window would be steady, and the rest would flash behind it. I'd go into the mix and roll back the updates, and, at first, the computer would work fine. Over the past year, it's ceased to be able to interact with the printer and other devices that used to recognize it just fine.A few months ago, something changed. I suggest you to follow the steps given in the link below and check if it helps you. Select Windows 8.1 from the Product list.

Windows defender doesn't update- Error code 0x80070003

This applies to Windows 8/8.1 and probably applies to Win 10. Many of the suggested fixes for various issues have yet to be updated by MS to reflect whether they are applicable to the new OS.
