Windows 10: something happened and your PIN is'nt available

just happened yesterday on my laptop, never had this issue before.the reset pin does nothingoptional log in with my account password says it's the wrong password even though I can log into my account on a different computer with my information and it loads up just fine.ran a boot scan for any malware or virus and nothing showed upI can't even get into safe mode as it keeps asking for my password which I don't understand, even pulling up a command prompt asks for a password thus I can't even use msconfig to force safe modeis this a microsoft log in problem and it's not on my end and if so how l

Pin Login not available and can't change or remove my pin

Hi Saschavan,

To help you disable your PIN login, kindly follow the steps below:

• Go to this location: Settings/Accounts/Sign-in options
• Check the PIN options and click the I forget my PIN available to click?
  
• Enter your password, it will prompt you to enter a new PIN.
• Click Cancel and your PIN should be disable upon reboot.

To pin an app back to your Start screen, kindly follow these steps:

Go to your App list.

Look for the app.

Tap and hold the app, and tap "Pin to

start".

Go back to your Start Screen, swipe at the bottom part and you will see there the icon of the apps that you just pinned.

Step 1: I suggest you to perform the below steps to add the apps on desktop.

Click on the “Start button” and locate the App that you want to pin to Desktop.

Right click on the “App” and click on “More options”.

Then click on “Open File location” and right click on the app, click on “Send to” option.

Then select “Desktop (Create shortcut)”.

Go to “Desktop” and check whether the app is located or not.

Or Step 2: To add shortcuts to the desktop

Press and hold or right-click the desktop, tap or click New, and then tap or click Shortcut.

Enter the location of the item or tap or click Browse to find the item in File Explorer.
