Windows 10: Something went wrong 0x800706D9

I have 21 apps pending for updates in my library in MS Store and I cant update them since I keep getting this error while trying to install. I have a pop up says something went wrong with the error code 0x800706D9. I dont have anti virus aside to Windows defender but still not helpful.

I have the same problem and your after trying your suggestions I am still in the same situation. None of my email accounts are listed in my windows 10 mail tile, the sync option is blanked out and when I try to add any of my email accounts: either gmail
or outlook I receive the error message 0x800706d9. Any help would be appreciated.

Since recently I can not download any app from the Store. I get the error
code 0x800706d9. Same with Windows updates. What could be wrong? Things worked in the past. ; win10
