Windows 10: Something went wrong when in Task Manager

I went into Task Mngr to shut down a running Chrome wjndow . I must have hit a key by mistake because all of a sudden it went white. I know nothing abkut this and have used it a time or two when I was advised by a tech once to use it to shut down a broweserbut I am usually very careful because I don't know what I'm doing. Under procezses it says that Chrome is Disabled or Not Alowed under UAC virtualization. I have not done anything to it since it happened because I don't want to make it worse. Please help! Scroll issues in Task Manager, Windows 10

steps to reproduce the problem

1. open task manager
2. click on more details if its not
3. go to performance tab
4. decrease its height till it has two scrolls for the two sections
5. hover over the right section (CPU, Memory, …) and try to scroll

Windows 10 - cannot add exec to Startup in Task Manager

I purchased a new computer with Windows 10 already installed. I am trying to add an exec to the startup list but Win10 will not accept it. The exec runs successfully on my Windows 10 machine if I start it manually.

Steps I've taken: Task Manager, Startup Tab, File>Run New Task. (browse to location, select.) It will start immediately, but does not show up on the list to autostart, nor does it start on reboot.

Any suggestions?
