Windows 10: Something wrong with the camera on my Lenovo Flex 5 14ABR8

I tried to use my laptop for a zoom meeting, but more than half of the camera was a bright green, plus it was glitching and the green parts were moving around. This has been happening for months, basically ever since I bought the laptop. I found that restarting the laptop would fix it for a little while, but I'm looking for a more permanent solution. Please help

integrated camera not listed/not working on Lenovo ideapad Flex 4

We have a Lenovo ideapad Flex 4 and have just figured out the camera isn't working - isn't listed in the devices, but I can see we have a camera above the screen. How can i activate it?

I'm Jin, a fellow Windows 10 user and an independent advisor. I understand that you want to know you can't use Windows Hello on your Lenovo flex 2.14.

Not every webcam will work with Windows Hello, your PC will need an infrared (IR) camera to use the feature. Sadly, the build-in camera of Lenovo flex 2.14 doesn't satisfy the requirement.

Camera on Lenovo ideapad Flex 4 not working

I ran the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter, and it did not find any issues.

I am on a Lenovo Flex 4 1470 and just downloaded the drivers from the Lenovo support site.

The system is patched, has updated BIOS, and is still not able to detect camera. I also tried System Restore to a time when the camera was working, but no luck.

I am still unable to use my camera.
