Windows 10: Somethings wrong with my downloads folder

Hey theres something wrong with my downloads folder. Basically, when I'm trying to move the folder onto another drive, it gives me a message that states, "Failed to build the list of regular subdirectories under 'C:\ System Volume Information'. Access is denied." Additionally, I found out that the drive is called C:\ instead of the normal Downloads. It also is not placed in the usual placement which is 'C drive>User>Username>Downloads' it is simply placed in the C drive itself.

maybe list the specific file you are trying to download. I also just grabbed a download with no issues, and good speed.

 

Downloads folder is the Documents folder

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.

Something wrong with downloads?

im new into this website for starters.

i used to be able to download stuff frm the download section. however of late. i noticed that i couldnt do so.

it would bring me to the mirror site. then it keeps going back and forth from the main download page. is there something wrong with the downloading section?
