    Sometimes unable to get emails or dont arrive for hours, error code 0x80048830


    The MAIL App sometimes errors with

    error code 0x80048830
    or fails to get my emails and they turn up hours later.

    Sending seems to be ok.


    I've tried all of the suggested work rounds.


    For MS developers, some info that may help you fix it.


    I also use outlook for work emails on the same laptop.

    This also hangs quite a lot, but no error, you just realise it when you've not had any emails all day.

    You have to kill outlook in task manager to get it to start again after closing it down.

    I think this coincides with a pending office 365 update.

    Also, please note I do not shut down my laptop or restart it every day - I hibernate it.

    error code 0x80048830 when trying to refresh email.... i cannot sync my email on my lumua 950xl and i keep getting this code. any advice?

    Windows 10: I repeatedly get error code 0x80048830 when I try to sync my centurylink email account. It worked fine with Windows 7 professional. I NEED MY EMAIL! Please fix this NOW!

    Sometimes unable to get emails or dont arrive for hours, error code 0x80048830

    error code 0x80048830 when trying to refresh email

    I tried all of the fixes suggested there: turned of automatic date+time set; rebooted; deleted and reinstalled the email account and i still get the 0x80048830 error message.

    Any more ideas?
