Windows 10: Sonix - Image driver update

Dear All,

I wanted to share my experience about a suspicious Optional update named "Sonix - Image driver update"!


It has taken my all day to find out the blue screen which comes up after my fresh windows installation is not because of bad sectors in my SSD !


I just need to not to install this optional " Sonix - Image update "


Is there anyone here to know what the h... is this optional update ?!



Based on my computer management at device manager there is nothing left in devices which needs an update !


Is it a driver of a ghost or something ?!!!

Suspicious driver update called sonix image driver, caused my new mechanical keyboard to stop working

so i uninstalled the keyboard drivers in device manager and it works now. But once i restarted my computer, it wants to install sonix image driver AGAIN. I installed it once again, keyboard fails to work again. Then i uninstall the keyboard drivers again,
you get the point. How do i prevent this malicious update?

i just bought a brand new mechanical keyboard a day ago. On the second day, im pretty sure the keyboard forced windows to install a driver update called sonix image driver. Have no idea what it is, looks suspicous, and it immediatly made my keyboard stop
working. Tried restarting, didn't help. And i dont know where to uninstall it.

The Sonix SN9C102 is the chip inside the webcam and Sonix -- the chip manufacturer -- does not supply webcam drivers.

In addition, from what I've seen, although there were some drivers for webcams incorporating the Sonix SN9C102 chip, they were for XP and Vista and none of the reports I've seen suggest that they work on a Windows 7 system.

If I were you, rather than wasting more time and energy trying to find driver and application support for this old camera, I'd buy a new USB-connected webcam. You should be able to find a decent one without having to spend too much:
